The sewing machines we have been using are old and well used. Unfortunately, we have some machines in need of repair which would cost too much. Our group is well attended by users and non-users alike. The funds we are requesting are to purchase new sewing machines and equipment for the group. This will allow us to continue to provide sewing advice and training for the community. Not only this we provide opportunities for people to come together to socialise, participate in group and individual activities and also promote good mental wellness.

Through facilitating monthly “Community Sunday Afternoon Get Togethers” we wish to provide free access to help tackle both food and fuel poverty, whilst at the same time offering opportunities for inclusive activities.
