Summary

Description

We would like to have mental health nights at the group where we get food in and spend time relaxing away from the stress of life and school. To develop our life skills, we would like to have mini cooking classes to allow us to make meals on a budget, but we need cookers to do this.

Funds requested: £1000

4 tabletop cookers - £640 Kitchen utensils - £50 Aprons £26 Baking trays, mixing bowls - £50 Food - £234 Total - £1000

Location: Redburn Community Centre

Proposed on behalf of: This project is allowing the young people to gain extra life skills that they can use in other areas of life, during this project they will learn about budgeting and gain cultural knowledge as they will have to research a chosen country and collate a quiz for others to complete. They will have to choose a traditional meal from the country. We will ask for feedback from the young people after the programme to find out what the impact of the project has been and how we can then build on it in future projects.
