Summary
Description
After the success of last years information day with over 200 people attending we would like to hold another information day for over 55's in the community and tell them about the activities and services they can access in their area. We want to inform about the voluntary sector opportunities including specialised groups eg Age Scotland, Dementia Scotland etc. We want to provide entertainment and refreshments.
Funds requested: £1000
Hall Hire £150, Catering £400, Entertainment (2 hours musician's) £200, Publicity Materials £250
Location: Irvine
Proposed on behalf of: We hope to again that NAC will support the event by setting up stalls on health and social care, mental health, Connected Communities, Active NA and KA Leisure as well as welfare rights. Our plan would be to hold the even in late spring/early summer.
