No Man Left Behind Cumbrae
No comments North Coast and Cumbraes
Living in Millport can be extremely isolating and even harder for men. Myself and my partner have decided to set up a group for local men , they can meet, talk do activities with no partners and children around, make new friends
The response has been brilliant, I have a hall in place which I am funding but would love some help with equipment if possible,as plan for them to go camping, cycling, play darts, pool and lots of other things, Men’s mental health is so low we want to help.
Largs Radio- Reaching new listeners
No comments North Coast and Cumbraes
We have applied to help us fund website development and social media support so that we can increase listeners across the North Coast for the volunteer led Largs Community Radio station. The station brings people together and gives voice to Largs and the wider community. As we increase our reach we would also attract additional presenters from the area, and all of that would encourage new advertisers so that we would meet our aim of being self funding within 2 years.
West Kilbride Yuletide Activities
No comments North Coast and Cumbraes
Each year, a number of activities are held during the Yuletide period for children and young people in the village of West Kilbride. We introduced extra activities last year which was a resounding success. We would like to replicate the extra activities again for next year, 2027, and possibly add more activities. All activities are free and are more accessible for families, children and young people.
