At Millport Bowling Club we want to Install and Maintain a 12M x 3M Petanque (Boules) Court to encourage participation in this sport. We intend to run an annual members championships and encourage members of the public and visitors to take part and enjoy this game,Project Description
The cost of this project to the Club would be
Puchase of Patanque court kit £1132
Delivery £200
Gravel £300
Total £1632
All assembling and labour will be supplied by the Members of the Club. We already have some Petanque equipment. we would like to apply for a grant of £1000.
Community Innovation - This would be a new innovation for the Bowling Club asd this would be the only Ptanque Court in North Ayrshire. This would increase the outdoor activities available
at the Club including lawn bowls and putting to and Petanque and we would look introduce new players to this global sport. Unlike lawn bowls this sport can be played all year round.
