I would like to set up a social group for adults that meets regularly at the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene. This will provide a space and time for people to relax, socialise and have a bit of fun.

One of the many activities is an outing to a place of interest and this is highly regarded as an opportunity to meet socially and share a visit to a cultural event or Scottish landmark.

Radio Studio improvements
No comments Three Towns

3TFM broadcasts programmes to the 3 Towns and beyond, from its base at the Frank Sweeney building in Ardrossan. We would like to upgrade some of our studio equipment to enable us to interview guests live on air, and to prerecord interviews. This would enable us to expand on our health and wellbeing output by producing more programmes containing health and wellbeing features with advice and information from local experts, and stories from local people.

Older and Wiser

The Function Suite, while forming part of the building at Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club is utilised in a totally separate manner. The Function Suite provides a Cafe, which provides meals to eat in or take away. The local Bridge, Whist, Fishing Clubs and British Legion Branch as well as the Visibly Impaired Group use it as their base. It is also used by the community for Birthdays, Weddings, Funerals etc

SeaSalt Streets Pop-Up Events / Re-Building Community Spirit
1 comment Three Towns

SeaSalt Streets have, as part of their vision, a longing to bring life and vitality into Saltcoats and in particularly to the heart of the town centre. We have successfully completed most of the vision created by the group, a vision inspired through extensive public consultation with members of the local community and beyond. One part of the initial vision remains unfulfilled -- the use of pop-up events as a means of building community spirit and ownership, a series of "different" one-off events to inspire others to think out of the box and to bring people into the town centre thereby stimulating economic growth. The events will also be used as an opportunity for SeaSalt Streets to showcase their group, it's vision for the future and as a recruitment tool for new members.
