Largs Pickleball for under 18s

1 comment LargsAcademyParentCouncil North Coast and Cumbraes

Establish a regular Pickleball programme for Largs Academy pupils to encourage physical activity, confidence, teamwork and positive social connection. The school already has an indoor court marked out on campus, making it an ideal location for sessions. Volunteers are in place to run the club after school; the only barrier is access to equipment and initial professional coaching.

Largs Radio- Reaching new listeners

No comments Largs Community Radio North Coast and Cumbraes

We have applied to help us fund website development and social media support so that we can increase listeners across the North Coast for the volunteer led Largs Community Radio station. The station brings people together and gives voice to Largs and the wider community. As we increase our reach we would also attract additional presenters from the area, and all of that would encourage new advertisers so that we would meet our aim of being self funding within 2 years.

Shopping Vouchers for Millport Community Shop Members

No comments Millport Community Shop North Coast and Cumbraes

We intend to give regular shoppers at the Community Shop a voucher to use in the local convenience store. The Community Shop offers members a 'top up shop' at low cost but, with winter coming up and the Cost of Living rising daily, members are finding it more and more difficult to buy essential groceries. The local convenience store has been very supportive of the Community Shop and this will also serve as a 'thank you' to them.
