We are planning two events this year. Our 1st being (Coronation / Segdoun Crowning) and a 2nd Event (Christmas Lights/Festival). This is to encourage the full community to come together aiming to increase community well-being and positive mental-health. Our Segdoune Crowing is a historic annual event in Kilwinning that motivates our town on an annual basis to come together. This year we are celebrating the Kings Coronation on the same day encouraging people in the community to join in and have fun. Our Christmas Event this year will be a light switch-on event encouraging the community to come together.

We would like to expand the community orchard at Holm Plantation in Ardrossan. We planted the first 50 fruit trees in the orchard there recently and would use PB funding to add an additional 27 apple trees. The community orchard will help address the climate challenge by reducing food miles and sequestering carbon, and will make local people healthier by providing them with free fresh fruit.

St Bridget's Primary School Show Group

Millport Town Hall

We will organise art/craft sessions for adults and hold Tea Dances for our older community members in the regenerated Town Hall. This will bring people together to connect with each other, learn new skills and stay active. In June 2022, LCC set up a sub group "Access to Food" Terms of Reference is to " Assist local groups to maintain/expand services providing food to people in need Outreached to local groups and formed a working relationship with Largs Naz (Largs Church of the Nazarene) who in conjunction with additional support have established a range of activities centred around providing food in a dignified and person centred manner.
