Summary
Description
We would hold social events within the local community to bring the community together. Promote social inclusion by holding events that are multi-cultural and multi-generational and ensure people from all family financial incomes have the opportunity to attend. Plans for Summer ParkLives and Party In The Park are already in process as well as bingo, quizzes and pop up family cinema nights.

Proposed on behalf of: The club has the use of the newly refurbished pavilion in Dalry Public Park and this is for the use of the whole community. It is the perfect area to hold social events, making use of the park, and has toilet and cooking facilities With the help of funding last year we managed to hold very successful events in the park such as a Jubilee Celebration and family fun days. We also supported the Easter Egg Hunt and the Skirt The Skeith fun run. We would like to start a regular bingo night and family quizzes that would be open to the whole of the community. A pop-up cinema would also benefit families who find it difficult to travel to other bigger towns to watch films in a social setting. Hosting these events would benefit the whole community providing much needed social interaction and mental well-being for socially isolated people.
