Proposed on behalf of: Research has shown that participation in arts and crafts activities has a positive impact on both physical and mental wellbeing. Engaging in these activities helps to reduce stress, improve mood and increase confidence and self esteem. Additionally, social interaction with peers and family members helps develop important social skills, builds positive relationships and reduces social isolation. By providing access to arts and crafts resources we believe that we can make a difference to the lives of the people engaging in the activities we run. We expect to be delivering to potentially 60 children of varying ages ranging from toddler to teenager.
