<p>The St. Bridget&#39;s Show Group provides the opportunity for pupils from Primary 4 to 7 to participate in a weekly after school club, to develop their skills in Music, Dance and Drama. This opportunity to expand their knowledge of the Expressive Arts also encourages communication and community as well as building the confidence of all pupils involved. The group will rehearse a Musical and perform this on stage for the rest of the school and local community.&nbsp;</p> <p>This experience not only provides the opportunity for our pupils to explore Drama, Music and Dance at a greater depth, but a chance to perform on stage in a full scale musical.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">Dreghorn Primary Parent Council(PC) would like to provide a trip for the whole school, this would be the first trip for years. &nbsp;Pupils and Parents have expressed their desire for a whole school trip but have alluded to the challenge posed by the current cost of living crisis.&nbsp; Not having a whole school trip is adversely effecting children of all ages and we want to ensure that finance is not a barrier. The PC are applying for funding to cover the cost for every child. We all have great memories of trips, we would like that for this generation. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">Outdoor learning is so important to make connections between school and the real world &ndash; bringing topics alive. Another pupil told us &quot; You get out all day to see things and its fun. <p>We are looking to secure funding which will be used to support the pupils of Whitehirst Park Primary&nbsp;school. Funding will be used for transport, which will allow pupils to attend sporting events and events involving the arts (Music, Drama and Expressive Arts). Securing this funding will ensure that we can work actively to support our children from&nbsp;the school by allowing them to experience a range of opportunites whilst enhancing&nbsp;their learning. The opportunities to&nbsp;engage them in the lessons and learning they are exposed to in school, but in an out of school environment will help them understand the importane of their learning and give them long lasting memories. Some additional funding will be used to supplement the in-school resources related to these subjects.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Enhancing the outdoor space available at Dykesmains, we would like to support the Eco Committee in further developing the outdoor areas, including the outdoor classroom and spaces for lessons in sustainability and with the family learning team.</p>

<p>Largs Primary School Parent Council wish to fund the Primay 7 Residential trip to reduce the social inequities in attendance. The grant will contribute to learning opportunities, engaging children in their own education and teaching them key lifeskills such as independence and team work. Children learn in a variety of ways, outdoor learning is especially helpful in supporting children at risk of disengaging from education, thus contributing to ongoing cycles of deprivation. Engaged and educated young people who can work in teams contribute positively to their own lives and local areas.</p>
