<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif">Music@Wellwood organises educational events, aimed mainly at Senior School pupils, and concerts which are open to all members of the community.&nbsp; In conjunction with North Ayrshire Council Music Services, Music@Wellwood wishes to organise a Strings Masterclass for young people from across North Ayrshire.&nbsp; Those participating would receive guidance, technical advice and possible progression pathways into music from the Head of Strings at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></span></p>

Opportunities are given to local musicians to perform and a backline and professional sound engineer is provided. <p>This project focuses on community health and wellbeing and community spirit in order to reduce the effects of isolation within our elderly population and to give our young people skills for their future in the both the creative arts and social service type careers. We are looking to host a photography exhibtion which will allow&nbsp;senior pupils to display their photographs of the local area&nbsp;to&nbsp;invited local elderly care home residents.&nbsp; We are aware of the isolation facing some of our elderly residents who are no longer able to get out and around the local area by themselves.&nbsp; The aim of the exhibition is to bring the local sights to them within a warm and welcoming environment.&nbsp; Higher Photography pupils will design an exhibition to take place within the school where local residents will enjoy a social afternoon of conversation&nbsp;with young people about their memories of the town whilst seeing&nbsp;the development of the local area through photographs.</p>

<p>Chauvet Wash FX Hex LED light would help enhabnce the annual pantomime produced by Livingstone Players. The idea would be to purchase 2 and have them located near the sound station at the back of the hall so that additional effects can be added in addition to the lighting that the backstage crew control..&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a comminity based project and is made up of a variety of local people of different ages and backgrounds who come together to produce, choreograph and write an annual pantomime as well as support all the technical background required to put the show on.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Art for Isolation with Lynn McNally

<p>Arts workshops open to the public to tackle social isolation. The workshops would take place in partnership with KA&nbsp;Leisure and sessions would take place free of charge within a KA building. This will give adults&nbsp;in the community, the opportunity&nbsp;to come together in a group setting and learn new skills, meet new people, build confidence, and improve mental health and wellbeing whilst working with a North Ayrshire&nbsp;Artist,&nbsp;Lynn McNally.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dalry Burns Club has been promoting the works of Robert Burns for more than 50 years within both Primary Schools in DALRY, as well as the Secondary Schools in The Garnock Valley.</p> <p>The objects of the club is to advanvce the literary, linguistic,musical and artistic&nbsp; heritage of Scotland by perpetuating the memory of Robert Burns, and the appreciation of his work through friendly relationships and fellowship of the club and by promoting our aims within the wider community. Indeed ths is indeed the objects of Dalry Burns Club</p> <p>The Club was formed in 1825, within the town, and now has a limit of 90 members., each member is allowed to bring a guest to our annual Burns Supper, held in Dalry Community Centre, on the&nbsp;&nbsp;nearest to 25th January. We have records to prove that the club has a WORLD RECORD of having held a supper each year, without a break, continuously, &nbsp;since 1825.</p> <p>Last year, from our accounts, it can be noted that we supported both Schools to the sum of &pound;1355.71, apart from other charitible acts..</p>

It&nbsp;is scheduled for Spring 2024 and Fall 2024.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif">Past participants reach out regularly to request that I hold this again!</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:black">I have an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow and a Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford Summer School at Exeter College, and I&rsquo;m the former <i>Outdoor Editor of Panorama: the Journal of Travel, Place, and Nature</i>. I&rsquo;m the author of a nonfiction memoir, <i>Today, She Is</i> (Wipf &amp; Stock, 2014), and my poems and stories have appeared in over 30 publications, including&nbsp;<i>Litro</i>,&nbsp;<i>The Curlew, and Third Wednesday</i>, and one was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.</span></span></span></span></p>
