Summary

Chauvet Wash FX Hex LED light would help enhabnce the annual pantomime produced by Livingstone Players. The idea would be to purchase 2 and have them located near the sound station at the back of the hall so that additional effects can be added in addition to the lighting that the backstage crew control..

This is a comminity based project and is made up of a variety of local people of different ages and backgrounds who come together to produce, choreograph and write an annual pantomime as well as support all the technical background required to put the show on.

Description

Livingstone Players are looking to improve lighting in order to enhance production and enable a wider array of special effects. More professional lighting can make a huge difference to the audience experience. The plan is to have another person helping behind the scenes and ideally give a younger person this experience. The would learn to create a chase effect and the illusion of movement across the stage. The equipment also has a blinder effect that can be used between scenes to disorientate the audience. The third technigue would be to use wash lights to fill a scene with colour.

The project would last the duration of equipment and we would intend to try and replace if it brokedown.

The cost £199 each including postage so 2 are required to cover whole stage totalling £398

Location: Livingstone Players are a community based amateur dramatic group who perform an annual pantomime. The group prides itself in involving young people and older people creating a broad fellowship of age within the cast and technical team. The vast majority of members are from North Ayrshire and as such the group has a strong community feel and money is raised for charity.
