Kilwinning Community Shed

No comments stephen wilson Kilwinning

KCS was established in 2024 but had no permanent home and through a successful asset transfer we now do. It is a community shed with both men and women members for a place where people can meet to have a chat or work on a project that is for the community. This will help members to learn new skills and work on various projects that they would not be able to do on their own. This will help with their mental health and make them feel less isolated as they will be working as a team.

We are looking to build on this success with having two events. We propose to have first of all our extremely successful Easter fun day where we have local families come and have a day of fun, easter egg hunt, kids crafts and games. Our second event would be a spooktacular Halloween event inviting families to come and spend the afternoon at the allotments.
