The Writing for Wellbeing group provides a supportive space for adults to improve mental wellbeing through creative writing. Participants build confidence, reduce isolation, develop friendships, and express themselves in a safe, welcoming environment.

Irvine Horticultural Society put on the annual Marymass Flower Show and we are seeking funding to help run the Marymass Flower Show 2027. Alongside our flower show we'd like to host an introduction to horticulture session to promote the benefits of gardening and growing produce within gardens and community spaces. Our show and information session will be held in Irvines Volunteer Rooms, however participants attend from all over North Ayrshire.

The parent council is hoping to raise funds to create a new raised garden area within the school grounds. This project will give children a fun, hands on opportunity to learn about growing plants, flowers, fruit & vegetables, while developing an understanding of where food comes from and the importance of caring for our environment. As part of the project, we hope to work alongside our Local Men’s Shed charity, brining the school & wider community together to design & build the raised planters.

Low-cost, inclusive practical workshops helping local people build skills, confidence and connections in a safe, supportive environment while reducing financial barriers and promoting positive wellbeing.

Coastwatch Irvine is looking for funding to renew our Marine VHF radios. Marine VHF radios are used to transmit distress signals. Our VHF radios are ageing as technology advances, and we are applying for this funding to purchase new radios for the Coastwatch Office. We monitor these radios for any distress signals in Irvine bay and beyond to ensure anyone in difficulty gets the help they need quickly.

A monthly community cafe bringing people together through free refreshments and practical workshops on first aid, cyber safety, wellbeing, literacy, numeracy and sustainability, reducing isolation.

Irvine and Dreghorn Brass have been entertaining our community and providing music education for over 50 years. We are seeking funding for percussion equipment which will be used for our after school youth Percussion Academy and our brass bands.

Annually, guided by our volunteer guides P6 pupils and staff from all 12 local schools (450 in 2026) visit Wellwood Burns Centre & Museum to learn about Robert Burns and the role Irvine played in inspiring and encouraging Burns, the apprentice flax-dresser, to become Burns, the apprentice poet. The “Champion of Champions” verse speaking event allows primary pupils to show their budding speaking skills, boosting their self-confidence and gain an appreciation of the Scots language.

We are Irvine Youth Forum, we are a group of young people who meet weekly. Our aim as a group is ensuring Irvines young people's voices are heard. Witht he fudning we'd like to old fundraisers, buy hoodies and go on a group trip.
