The "Kit for Confidence" initiative aims to break down barriers to participation in extra-curricular activities by providing young people with appropriate clothing and equipment. Recognising that lack of access to suitable kit can discourage involvement, this project will offer discreet, targeted support to ensure every young person feels comfortable, confident, and included when taking part in sports, clubs, and other enrichment opportunities out with the school day.

We are a community youth football team, who pride themselves on working hard to give children the opportunity to participate in football and be part of a team. The team has been established for 7 years. Our volunteer coaches have worked with the children since they were 4 years old. The team train at Kilwinning sports club twice a week and are currently playing in the top tier of the Ayrshire youth football league at 9 a side.

Blacklands Primary School as one of the Schools that reside in deciles 1 & 2 and falling into the 20% of most deprived areas in Scotland we are seeking funding to support the hosting of discos, events, and other fun activities for the children who attend our school. These activities will be designed to be inclusive, safe, and welcoming for all pupils, with particular attention given to children with additional support needs (ASN) who may find traditional busy or noisy environments overwhelming.

Garnock Valley Sports Leaders are a group of pupils who train in upskilling ourselves to go out into local primaries and secondary to provide sporting opportunities in the local area. As a group we want to be able to provide young people in our community with quality and equal opportunities to take part in sport. As a group we aim to get more young people involved in sport and be physically active through delivering different sessions and clubs across schools in the Garnock Valley.
