Garnock Valley Sports Leaders are a group of pupils who train in upskilling ourselves to go out into local primaries and secondary to provide sporting opportunities in the local area. As a group we want to be able to provide young people in our community with quality and equal opportunities to take part in sport. As a group we aim to get more young people involved in sport and be physically active through delivering different sessions and clubs across schools in the Garnock Valley.
Project Description
As Garnock Valley Sports Leaders we will be volunteering our time to give young people the opportunity to take part in free high quality sports sessions to benefit their mental and physcial health. It will also allow the opportunity to try new sports, find a passion for one and a sense of commuinty. It will also provide t-shirts for leaders to make them easy to identify to pupils and staff when taking the club. The t-shirts will help the leaders also feel part of a community and sense of representation when out coaching in the local schools.

Location: we would like to be able to provide quality sports sessions to young people in the Garnock Valley cluster. We feel that everyone should be able to have the opportunity to take part in physical activity. This project will affect all young people across the Garnock Valley in the local primaries and secondary school as we go out to volunteer at clubs.
