  • Please see response to previous question . In particular my concerns relate to the position of the community groups who meet in the facility a number of which meet on the days scheduled for closure . In addition I remain concerned that at a time when a purpose built facility is to be contained within the new Ardrossan campus consideration is being given to the diminution of the service . Are we building a new facility to lie empty for a large part of the week or are complimentary uses envisaged

        • Need to be organised and plan visits accordingly. Grateful to have a library still.

          • It’s such a shame that an important resource is gradually being shut down. It is forcing people to use it less and then it will be shut down because it’s not being used enough.

            • It will drastically reduce access and availability to me, as well as affect requesting books for pick up ( which branch? What week? Can I get to it before hold date comes round?)

A library should be available at all reasonable times.

                  • These changes are not good for me and my family to begin with. I have two boys and we do visit the library more than 3 times a week. This has been a safe haven for my boys to also meet with other members of the community with most of the church members coming for activities and meet and socialise in such a safe place by closing some days you would have negatively impacted the families and members of the community benefitting from the lovely staff and programme currently offered for us. Please kindly stop this change
