We are a small group of parents and carers of children attending Ardrossan Academy. We enjoy supporting the pupils in school and supporting other activities.

Following the success of last year's transition events, we would like to continue with the 'Good Start Gift Bag', potted sports event and disco. Funding would be used to purchase school essentials for every pupil entering S1, as well as the costs of two events; equipment, medals, dj, refreshments, decorations. Please vote for us to support our children and young people.

With the cost of living crisis it has proved a challenge to fundraise. The team will be going to their first ever abroad tournament in Holland in March 2024.

We have done a huge amount of fundraising to cover the costs of all the boys to travel and stay in Holland.

We are applying to this fund to help cover the costs of meals, strips and a zip track top.

P7 Residential Trip to Ardentinny
No comments North Coast

Largs Primary School Parent Council wish to fund the Primay 7 Residential trip to reduce the social inequities in attendance. The grant will contribute to learning opportunities, engaging children in their own education and teaching them key lifeskills such as independence and team work. Children learn in a variety of ways, outdoor learning is especially helpful in supporting children at risk of disengaging from education, thus contributing to ongoing cycles of deprivation. Engaged and educated young people who can work in teams contribute positively to their own lives and local areas.
