<p style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Our project is a volunteering opportunity for anyone to take part in, providing a&nbsp;rare chance to help record a long lost part of Kilwinning&rsquo;s history. The project currently has around 10 volunteers and we are always welcome to&nbsp;have more!</span></span></span></p>

<p>&nbsp;The Flying Start Toddler Group is a registerd charity and is for families with children under three years, we operate&nbsp;<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">in a safe and comfortable environment which &nbsp;can&nbsp; be accesed&nbsp;easily. We provide parent and child sessions to promote friendships and a sharing of experiences among adults, and activities to promote the wellbeing of babies and children. The group members have the opportunity to engage in activities that might not be available to them. The members benefit from companionship, support and social interaction and the opportunity to form new friendships.</span></span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:13px"><font face="Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">The group is open three mornings per week, we use a large hall for active play and snack,&nbsp;small hall for activities and an early years room for baby activities and art and craft. We hold parties at&nbsp; Easter, Halloween and Christmas and any special occassions. The cost for our members is &pound;2 per family including a snack of tea, coffee, juice, crisps and&nbsp; biscuits.&nbsp; All our activities are free, this is possible through grants and awards to cover our core costs and activities.</span></font></p>

We help to coordinate research, facilitate training, employment and community engagement to develop circular economy and local opportunities to assist as we move towards a just and nature rich future and transition to net-zero.</p> <section> <section> <p>We engage with local communities to determine their priorities for land use, help them to envisage how to use land within their village or community, and turn these ideas into action. We combine heritage and tradition with innovation to find sustainable and regenerative solutions to empower our communities to tackle the issues they are facing.</p> </section> <section> <section id="two"> <section> <p>Our team helps to design and plan uses for community land before helping to make these ideas happen on the ground. We develop practical routes to increase the opportunities for localised food production, increased biodiversity, and vibrant and viable communities within our local, regional and national plans for a self sufficient and sustainable future.</p> </section> </section> </section> </section> </header>

<p>SeaSalt Streets have, as part of their vision, a longing&nbsp;to bring life and vitality into Saltcoats and in particularly to the heart of the town centre. We have successfully completed most of the vision created by the group, a vision inspired through extensive public consultation with members of the local community and beyond. One part of the initial vision remains unfulfilled -- the use of pop-up events as a means of building community spirit and ownership, a&nbsp;series of &quot;different&quot;&nbsp;one-off events to inspire others to think out of the box and to bring people into the town centre thereby stimulating economic growth. The events will also be used as&nbsp;an opportunity for SeaSalt Streets to showcase their group, it&#39;s vision for the future and as a recruitment tool for new members.</p>

<p>BABCA would like to organise a Country and western Social evening to try and get older people and adults back into the way of attending social events in Towerlands Community Centre.We would like to organise a free evening event to encourage people to socialise. People have got in to the way of staying in their houses during covid we would like to invite people in the local area to an evening of Country music with a live band. We woud like to turn the centre into the wild west providing an evening of live music with a theme. This community event would bring people together and help people who have been social isolated meet new friends. &nbsp;</p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;">Installation of replacement electrical system&nbsp;for Yuletide lights in&nbsp;Ritchie Street and Main Street West Kilbride Ayrshire. Work is required&nbsp;because the existing&nbsp;electrical system which has been in place for many years no longer complies with current electrical regulations as recently intimated by NAC Building Services.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;">New/replacement connections need to be provided from a number of premises in the village and the external wall cabling needs to be replaced as it is over 25&nbsp;years old. Without this work taking place there will no longer be street lighting motifs for Yuletide activities in West Kilbride much to the detriment of community wellbeing.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;">If this project doesn&#39;t go ahead there will be no Yuletide street lights this year in West Kilbride for the first time in over 25 years.</span></span></p>
