Pipe Band Practice
No comments Arran

We are looking to fund our pipe band practices for our project for the year. We currently have a weekly pipe band practice as part of our charity each week which currently involved around 25-30 pupils of the Isle of Arran Music School. This entails the pipe band practicing for upcoming contests, events and concerts that happen all over Scotland. In these weekly band practices they learn many differnent skills for life including team working, working out new problems, time management, leadership.

As part of our project to make the club inclusive to all a disabled toilet has been installed. To facilitate wheelchair access from the new annex to the toilet, the doorway requires widening and a new door put in.

As part of the Girlguiding family we help girls aged 4 - 7 to become more resilient through completing badgework from 6 different themes. We are well known in the area for the opportunities we give girls. We always try to source businesses locally who can provide a variety of experiences for our girls and make coming to Rainbows fun as well as in unit activities.

I would like to set up a social group for adults that meets regularly at the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene. This will provide a space and time for people to relax, socialise and have a bit of fun.

Doon The Beach Fun Day 2024
No comments Three Towns

After the success of the fun day in July 2023 we thought it would be great to be able to replicate and add to this for 2024 whilst trying to keep everything as low cost as possible. From Pony rides to misbehaving donkeys, and the cutest alpacas around there will be something for all the family to enjoy. We are applying for this funding towards the cost of activities for next year.
