A free "Try Something New" programme offering a range of after-school activities that remove financial barriers and give children access to fun, inclusive new experiences.

We would like to host a celebratory event at Redburn, Irvine, bringing together all Discovery Award groups from across North Ayrshire. The event would provide an opportunity for participants to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their achievements in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This will be held in February 2027.

Funding of £990 will help Hayocks Parent Council deliver inclusive parties and events for children in the local community, bringing young people together in a safe and fun environment.

Samba drumming group for young people aiming to support good mental health, build confidence, teamwork and a sense of belonging. The group will have opportunities to perform locally and represent our young people in a positive way.

This is a continuation of our 2026 project, seeking more of our community who are prepared to share their inner selves and be photographed as their "real" selves for an exhibition

Whitehirst Parent Council would like to establish Whitehirst Together – Family Wellbeing & ASN Programme, a free programme of after-school and early-evening sessions supporting children, parents and carers within our community. We aim to provide a programme of approximately six free family wellbeing sessions

We intend to give regular shoppers at the Community Shop a voucher to use in the local convenience store. The Community Shop offers members a 'top up shop' at low cost but, with winter coming up and the Cost of Living rising daily, members are finding it more and more difficult to buy essential groceries. The local convenience store has been very supportive of the Community Shop and this will also serve as a 'thank you' to them.
