Hayocks Parent Council believes it is more important than ever that children and young people have opportunities to socialise, build friendships, and take part in positive community activities. We aim to deliver three community events throughout the year, providing safe, inclusive, and enjoyable opportunities for local children to come together, have fun, and lead healthy, active lives. Children and young people will be involved in planning the events to ensure their voices are heard and that activities reflect their interests and preferences. This will help create events that are engaging, accessible, and meaningful for those attending. The funding requested will help cover the costs of venue hire, decorations, entertainment, and catering for three events across the year. The budget breakdown is:

• Hall hire: £52.50 x 3 = £157.50
• Decorations: £310
• Entertainment: £300
• Catering: £90 x 3 = £270

Total funding requested: £1037.50 With many families continuing to face financial pressures, community events such as these provide an affordable opportunity for children to celebrate, socialise, and take part in activities they may otherwise miss out on. Our aim is to reduce barriers to participation, support children's wellbeing, and strengthen community connections through fun and inclusive events.
