A youth rugby tour is a clear example of community action because it immobilises local people, develops young citizens, promotes inclusion, strengthens community identity and represents the area beyond its borders. It delivers lasting social value that extends far beyond the sport itself. Funding would go a long way to offset one of our biggest costs, which is transport.
