We intend to help our band members in the coming year with the ongoing cost of living impact.  We currently have 35 active band members who pay membership fees annually, we would like to reduce the financial pressure to our members by £10 per member therefore £350. would make this possible.  

As a community concert band, we are always looking for a new and at times challenging piece of music.  Music has much health benefits from improving physical health, mental health and wellbeing as well as improving brain function.  So, the long and short of it is the more music we have to learn and play, the more music people can come and listen to and benefit from as listening to music also comes with the same health benefits.  we are looking for £550. towards new music for upcoming concerts.  

A joint Community Concert with a variety of different music groups from the Garnock Valley!  This gives everyone a chance to play together; to socialise in a musical setting and to share the wealth of musical talent we have within the Garnock Valley!  This helps to break the isolation barrier between music groups within the community and opens music to more people, we will be sending invites to local nursing homes and day centres as well as the local libraries, schools and shops to encourage everyone to join us for this concert.  we are looking for £100 towards this for a one-time hall hire.
