To create a series of portraits, both photographic and audio, of residents of West Kilbride/ Seamill, based not just on the person we see but the person they feel they are inside

AILN are an independent information and advice organisation to support people to remain independent in their homes and communities. We also have a self funding payroll service, a Dementia Befriending /wellbeing cafes project, along with a training and micro enterprise projects.

We are a sustainable community garden in Fairlie with 170 members from Fairlie, Largs and West Kilbride primarily. We have had many tools donated over the years since we began in 2008 but with use over time our tools are now needing replaced. We are in need of more useful and ecological equipment such as a battery operated strimmer and lawn mower.

Marymass Committee is made up of volunteers who run the 12 day festival every year. We We are a group of volunteers who run the full 12 days of the Marymass Festival. Our festival and events are open for everyone across the Irvine locality and North Ayrshire. Marymass is a traditional horse festival held every August in Irvine. Mixing traditional with modern, our 12 days of festivities means there is something for everyone! From horse racing to fireworks, funfair, dog show, live music and so.

Our group, Irvine without Incinerators, wishes to monitor air quality in Irvine, to reassure worried locals that the Waste Incinerator at Oldhall West is not producing more than permitted levels of pollutants, in particularly NO2( nitrous dioxide). We propose to use the funding to pay for an appropriate monitioring machine.

Mindful Makers uses mindfulness, crafting and a book group to support mental health, reduce adult loneliness, and promote feelings of achievement, well being, and community via our regular group meetings.

We are a 100% voluntary group made up of people who maintain access paths around the woodlands for all to use and enjoy. With conservation and re-wilding in mind, we always work with these principles in mind. To create a peaceful space where people from all over the Garnock Valley can enjoy nature and learn about their local environment. Next year, we are hoping to work with the Nectare Network and improve the meadow.

We would like to purchase equipment for local families to enjoy the benefit of at Kilmory Hall. In recent months our younger members have been enjoying our space to play pool, listen to music and enjoy the space with their siblings, friends, parents and grandparents. As they become more isolated in a rural area in the winter months it would be great to update the equipment and give them a space to enjoy together.
