We have set up a volunteer led initiative, community food store where Larder members are given access to groceries through a process that promotes dignity and affordability. The advancement of health through the supply of free dental hygiene products and free feminine hygiene products to reduce period poverty. The advancement of environmental improvement by reducing food waste.

This allows ladies and gents over 50 to connect with others while they enjoy quizzes , chocolate bingo and other fun activities. Many of the people who attend live by themselves and this group reduces isolation,promotes positive mental health,encourages and supports friendships and interests. The club means so much to its members and has a real impact on people’s lives in a positive way.

Introduce a perennial pathway along the 40m+ main entrance to West Kilbride Primary School. This project aims to bring movement, colour & life by planting & caring for a perennial border. We aim to raise awareness of the benefits of a beautiful green space to the Carers & Parents of the 300+ pupils who use this path every day during term time.

The Arran Friendship Club meets twice each month to provide a safe and friendly meeting space for those suffering memory issues, their carers or those who are feeling isolated or lonely. Our membership is predominantly in the 70 to 90+ years age group for whom maintaining social contracts in a rural community can be hard. Our meetings reduce social isolation and foster relationships by providing a communal lunch, speakers, and activities that promote mental and physical wellbeing.

We're seeking funding to purchase an evacuation chair for Millport Town Hall

We are a group of retirees, mostly in our 70's and 80's who practice yoga weekly. We are also a social and support group, offering support to one another in times of stress, loneliness and/or isolation. We would like to organise a theatre trip in early 2026 to help combat winter blues.
