Shopping Vouchers for Millport Community Shop Members

No comments Deirdre Oakley North Coast and Cumbraes

The Community Shop offers members a 'top up shop' at low cost but, with Christmas coming up and the Cost of Living rising daily, members are finding it more and more difficult to buy essential groceries. The local convenience store has been very supportive of the Community Shop and this will also serve as a 'thank you' to them.

The football ground is a focal point of local activity—used not just for matches, but, on occasion, for youth programmes and community gatherings. In deprived areas where access to health and leisure services is already limited, this can be a lifeline for many disabled residents. We aim to create accessible facilities would allow more residents to take part, helping to improve mental wellbeing, reduce loneliness, and create stronger community bonds.
