Thanks to previous PB grants over the last 3 years Eglinton Growers Allotments have been able to provide the local community two free family events which have been a massive success, well attended, with tickets gone in just a few days and many returning year after year. Next year we wish to again host a free Easter Egg hunt for local children and this year a Colour 'Run' in the summer weeks. Each of our past events were and will be attended by 100 children and their families.

Two intercultural workshops in North Ayrshire: Ukrainian pysanka (egg painting) and dumpling-making. They bring locals and New Scots together, sharing culture, food and traditions.

Syrian food and football in Kilwinning, bringing people from Syria and other communities together with local people to share food, play football and build connections.

To promote and encourage the benefits of angling to people of all ages,to provide free permits for anyone under the age of 16 To participate in community spirit by maintaining council footpaths along the river plus keeping our riverbanks clear for easy access for the whole community not just anglers

We are part of the Project Art Group, we meet weekly at Cranberry Moss Community Centre. The group has 24 active members, with a waiting list of others eager to join. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, bringing together people who might never have met in everyday life. The group has created a strong sense of community and belonging. It has helped reduce isolation, given members a sense of purpose, and provided a supportive environment where friendships have flourished.

We are a group of 14 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

The members of the Kilwinning Community Shed would like to embark on a pilot project to create a 'buddy bench' for use in a locally identified primary school, and if successful, to roll this project out to other primary schools in the Kilwinning area. Alongside a buddy bench we would also aim to offer an outdoor chalkboard with the option to include an indoor 'postbox' whose function is determined by the school themselves.
