My non-working day is a Friday, so the proposal to close the library on Fridays will make it much more difficult for me to get there to borrow and return books.
I find it really hard to go to the library due to working on the days it is open. Now it will only be open every 2nd Saturday. Increasing opening hours in other branches is not helpful. If you don't drive or limited mobility you need your local branch open in your town. I want to go to my own library, not take a drive to another branch. Very limiting to library users.
As previously stated, the reduction in hours would have a negative impact on my quality of life and my interaction with the community in West Kilbride. I welcome my regular visits to the Library as an integral part of my daily life. Any reduction in hours would significantly impact on me.
As we are retired we can visit the library on any day of the week. However, limiting the days will mean having fewer options. The proposed alternate Saturday/Wednesday opening will simply confuse as keeping track of which it is in any one week will be almost impossible.
I don't drive and usually call in to the library when I've walked to WK for other purposes. The proposed closure times will overlap with times I would be in WK so would need to make the journey (all uphill) specifically to get to the library on other days

Keeping it at the currant times give me more option what day i can come into the library if I'm off work.
