The West Kilbride forms an integral part of the community and the life of pensioners, third age people and children participating in the library. The Library provides much more that a book lending service and is a key community hub for a range of individuals and groups. To limit the oening hours for a negible cost saving would seem banal and ill considered.
I have been a library member and user since moving to WK 11 years ago. I use it weekly and consider it a valuable and important resource for the community.
The library is an essential community resource. I borrow books for reading pleasure and information/education. The library is a key hub for communication/distribution of local resources and events.
Yes. I use it for borrowing books for myself and children. When the kids were young, it was a key community space offering activities and a safe welcoming atmosphere. It's a central part of the local community and opening hours should be being increased and not reduced.
A marvellous facility in the centre of our town. With such great premises and a central location, it is hard to believe that NAC cannot make this work in some form.
