For me personally, the changes specifically to the Irvine library would not impact me, and I am grateful that it appears the opening hours will not change too dramatically, although I note that the late evening hours on Tuesday will change, which may impact others who work regular 9am-5pm hours. I am in the fortunate position of being a full-time PhD student, so I can be flexible with my time.
I'd probably occasionally on a Wednesday.
I think it's a pity not to have the library open in the evening for working people.
