To ensure all P1-P7 at Lamlash primary school have access to swimming classes. Living on an island surrounded by water it's important that all children have the opportunity to learn to swim.
Description
To facilitate P1-P7 to have access to swimming classes on Arran. This will be achieved by having a 4 week block of lessons for all primary school classes
Transport from Lamlash primary school to Auchrannie Hotel/ where swimming pool is and back to primary school will be required. The cost of swimming classes will require to be covered for approx 65 pupils.
2022-2023 costs:
transport/bus were £90 per single session Total approx £2500
swimming classes 65 pupils x4 classes. Total approx £1000
Location: Lamlash Primary and Early Years Parent Council. One of our main aims is to fundraiser to help benefit all children attending Lamlash primary school and Early Years
