Summary

We are Beith Primary Parent Council and we love supporting our school and our young people. We strive to support them in all areas associated with being at school and are keen to help enhance their learning experiences. 

Description

We have many areas in which we would like to support this year. We would love to help in contributing with the cost of getting Zoo Lab in to visit the pupils. Am experience that is outwith their normal curriculum but enhances learning and gives kids the opportunity to hold and learn about exotic pets. Roughly around £500 would help a big way towards making that possible. We host a few fundraising events over the year and around £200  would help cover our outgoings in order that we are able to give more money back to the pupils in the form of treats at specific holidays ie selection boxes at Christmas and Easter eggs in the spring. These treats are completely separate from school and they go a long way in making holidays an exciting time for our pupils. We would also love to contribute £300 to our school improvement committee to refresh equipment for break time and lunch time use. This equipment is funded soley by fundraising and is not classed as school equipment, rather it's support and resources to enhance their learning experiences and promote friendships and social relationships.
