Project Description

We know most people love music but others may find the music at a disco too loud. Silent disco equipment allows users to set volumes and listen to music with a choice of up to three chanels. All age groups can enjoy the fun of a silent disco and this is something we would like to bring to our community. The cost of the equipment is what we are applying to the funding for and we could add on to this at a later date.

How have young people been involved in shaping this project?

We have asked some the local community about their views on silent discos and they are keen to have them. Some people have been fortunate to try the headsets before and have given positive reviews whereas others have not been able to try them. We would like everyone if all ages to at least have the chance to try them out. Some young people have said music improves their wellbeing and makes them feel happier.

Location: Kilwinning is a low income area and we would like to bring fun low cost ideas to the area
