Project Summary

We are a well established Musical Theatre Group who rehearse after school on Mondays at Auchenharvie Academy. The Group is open to all interested young people from S1 - S6. For over 20 years we have been producing school schools, Pantos and taking young people abroad to perform. We have a trip to Paris planned for June 2026 when 40 of our young people from Auchenharvie will head to Paris to perform 3 different concerts - one being at Disneyland Paris.

Project Description

This trip is costing each pupil £685 for 3nights/ 4days flying from Glasgow Airport and staying bed and breakfast in Premiere Classe Paris Pont de Suresnes.  This also includes coach transport when we reach Paris.  Any financial contribution would help to keep cost down.

How have young people been involved in shaping this project?

Pupils range from S1 - S6 and so some young people have just joined the group, while others have been involved over the past 5 years taking part in various shows - Matilda, High School Musical and also performing at Pineapple Dance Studios in London June 2024. The commitment shown by these young people is immense and the support the older pupils give to the younger ones is a pleasure to watch.
