The New Scots is a fully youth-led group supporting young newcomers (ages 15–21) in North Ayrshire. Our project aims to help members find pathways for personal growth, community involvement, and future careers through engaging activities.
Planned activities include:
- Trips and workshops: Cultural events, outdoor adventures, hillwalking, and skills-building workshops.
- Community engagement: Connecting young people to clubs, volunteering, and local initiatives.
- Career guidance: Providing information about colleges, universities, and potential career pathways.

Location: Because our members live across different areas of North Ayrshire, Ardeer Community Centre in Stevenston serves as the most accessible and central base for our activities. It provides a safe and welcoming space for workshops, meetings, and community events, allowing young people from across North Ayrshire to participate fully in our trips, cultural activities, and skill-building programmes.
