We are a friendly community club supporting over 50s with loneliness and mental well-being. With 52 members, we offer quizzes, bingo, and social outings. We hope to organise special events for Valentine’s Day and Easter, as well as bus trips, helping our members connect and enjoy life together. Funding will ensure these activities are free and accessible for everyone.

Marymass Committee is made up of volunteers who run the 12 day festival every year. We We are a group of volunteers who run the full 12 days of the Marymass Festival. Our festival and events are open for everyone across the Irvine locality and North Ayrshire. Marymass is a traditional horse festival held every August in Irvine. Mixing traditional with modern, our 12 days of festivities means there is something for everyone! From horse racing to fireworks, funfair, dog show, live music and so.

The aim of this project is to bring the community together to share movies, music and food to help improve community cohesion as well and mental health and wellbeing during the post New Year period.

We would like to hire 2 buses to take the members on a day trip. Our summer trip cost for 2 53 seaters was £1700

Our Building Skills and Inspiration project is 3 fold : 1. Transport to visit Scottish Quilting Show for ideas and inspiration. This is especially important for our non drivers who otherwise cannot attend. 2. Engage tutor to give us a workshop to build skills 3. Buy materials to facilitate members giving workshops withing the group

A series of six two-hour social art sessions for grown-ups, run by friendly local tutors in six different communities around Arran during the Spring of 2026. Absolute beginners will be welcome - the key word of ‘Arran Art 4 Us’ will be ‘fun’!

Redburn Bingo Group run a weekly bingo session on Thursday afternoons in Redburn Community Hub. This activity provides a regular fun and friendly social event in a safe and familiar social setting. The bingo sessions help to connect community members and reduce social isolation and loneliness. Members of the local community come along to the bingo sessions each week to have fun, meet new people and have a chat. The bingo is very popular and well attended.

Two intercultural workshops in North Ayrshire: Ukrainian pysanka (egg painting) and dumpling-making. They bring locals and New Scots together, sharing culture, food and traditions.

Chatty Chalkers (a subgroup of SeaSalt Streets) wishes to expand Saltcoats' arts & heritage trail by creating more murals and introducing small pieces of wire sculptures. These installations will be carried out by locals (children and adults) who will be trained by Chatty Chalkers artist The Inked Pigeon through a series of free classes!!!
