Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society (ACHS) require community engagement equipment and materials to deliver community events and carry out community consultations around the procurement of the Heritage Hub on Ardrossan Castle Hill.

We are local Spots club who run a kayaking and canoe club from kilbirnie loch . We have an age range from 8yrs to adults . Everyone is encouraged to come along and join in and try different skills be it canoeing , kayaking , water boarding etc Hence creating a friendly environment where people are comfortable to try new things . It’s a fantastic way to make friends , stay fit , and learn life saving skills .

After the success of our first community garden at The Argyle Centre, Start Little Grow Big is expanding. We are now working with West Coast Furniture Bank SCIO and The Criminal Justice Team to create a brand-new community garden space in Ardrossan.

On an annual basis, Kilmory and Kildonan organsie a Christmas Lunch bringing together all those over the age of 65. This includes those socially isolated and those who live in rural isolation. For many of our senior citizens it is a chance to meet with the new residents of the villages and and link up with old friends. We provide an excellent three course lunch , a gift from Santa and an afternoon of entertainment. Free transporation is offered for all.

This project involves expanding community orchards that we have created at Holm Plantation in Ardrossan and Ardeer Quarry in Stevenston.

We would like to hire 2 buses to take the members on a day trip. Our summer trip cost for 2 53 seaters was £1700

A group for over 60's men, who meet to play board games, have lunch and support each other socially and economically. The group also bring in speakers and advise on current opportunities for their members.

Our vision is to host a Christmas celebration that is welcoming to all, strengthens community bonds, and brings back the wonder of the festive season. With the lighting of our community Christmas tree, Santa visits, entertainment, and locally run festive stalls, we will create a joyful event where the benefits are shared by the whole community.

As Save Ardrossan Harbour have been very busy and continue to progress with our campaign to save the harbour, we have limited access in terms of printing for flyers, petitions and posters. The project would allow us to operate more cost effectively. The project will also increase our profile with purchasing more pin badges which help enhance our message.
