Project ART painting group

We are part of the Project Art Group, we meet weekly at Cranberry Moss Community Centre. The group has 24 active members, with a waiting list of others eager to join. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, bringing together people who might never have met in everyday life. The group has created a strong sense of community and belonging. It has helped reduce isolation, given members a sense of purpose, and provided a supportive environment where friendships have flourished.

We hope to organise special events for Valentine’s Day and Easter, as well as bus trips, helping our members connect and enjoy life together. Ripple Effect Saltcoats (RES) are seeking funding to purchase a 10ft x 8ft storage container. This container will be used onsite at Melbourne Public Park as an office / store / base from which to operate and distribute the relevant sports equipment and other accessories needed for the new 18 hole putting green, the target bowls rinks, the giant chess and draughts board and possible table tennis table. This container is an integral part of Ripple Effect's future plans.
