We have been educating and entertaining the community for 50 years. We are looking for support for a 50th anniversary concert and social event to celebrate our community and legacy.

We are applying to deliver a day of cookery classes for Island families in early 2026 - using sustainable produce to create budget friendly meals, perfect for batch cooking for the freezer. 

On an annual basis, Kilmory and Kildonan organsie a Christmas Lunch bringing together all those over the age of 65. This includes those socially isolated and those who live in rural isolation. For many of our senior citizens it is a chance to meet with the new residents of the villages and and link up with old friends. We provide an excellent three course lunch , a gift from Santa and an afternoon of entertainment. Free transporation is offered for all.

Tasty Hong Kong lunches and music for elderly people – bringing joy, culture, and friendship while tackling loneliness in our community.

The event has become a highlight of the year in Kilwinning. The community day in McGavin Park on a Thursday prior to the schools returning in August. A day for families with entertainment, information stalls, community groups, kids entertainment and health checks all on offer for visitors. It’s all free to attend.

Help us make tennis accessible to our island’s youngest children - building confidence, focus, and fitness through on-island children’s tennis activities.

To commemorate the Centenary of the Skelmorlie Reservoir Disaster our wee Garden Group adopted a piece of land..sourced a Memorial via the British Dams Society..and have sympathetically planted a Memorial Garden.

Art in Mind now has two weekly groups in different venues, for people with mental ill health . We want to learn about printing, and have a printer and a specialist printmaker to teach us all. If we are successful with this application, we will pay our specialist to service the printer, and prepare some training sessions in various printing techniques, for tutors, members and volunteers. We also need some storage to rationalise our art materials, and make them more accessible and easy to use.
