To create a series of portraits, both photographic and audio, of residents of West Kilbride/ Seamill, based not just on the person we see but the person they feel they are inside

WKCIL exists to support the regeneration of the village through Craft Town Scotland. WKCIL rents studios to crafters, helping to keep the village vibrant. The Barony Centre is the hub of all the activity, acting as a central point for showcasing and selling arts and crafts from local and National artists and makers. There is also a very busy cafe in the Barony, which acts as a community hub. WKCIL employs 11 part-time staff, all based in the Barony centre.

The main aim of the Clyde Coast & Cumbraes Men's Shed is to help improve men’s mental health and wellbeing by providing a venue where men can choose to either work, relax, make and repair things, pursue hobbies and pastimes, get practical help with projects, and share & learn new skills. Perhaps more importantly, it’s a place where men can make new friends, have a cuppa, a chat, a laugh, and get out of the house for a while.

To commemorate the Centenary of the Skelmorlie Reservoir Disaster our wee Garden Group adopted a piece of land..sourced a Memorial via the British Dams Society..and have sympathetically planted a Memorial Garden.

Largs Music Club provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where aspiring musicians of all ages and abilities can come together to learn, practice, and support one another in developing their musical skills. Many of our members are beginners who may not otherwise have the opportunity to access instruments, lessons, or peer encouragement. We believe music should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or financial circumstances, and our club helps make this possible.

The project will cover the cost of the ‘Change of Use’ fee to North Ayrshire Council, allowing us to formally adopt donated derelict land and lay the foundations for a greener, more resilient future for our community.

To support those with lesser mobility to gather in establishments where intergenerational socialising is the norm. This supports physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging to all of the community, not being segregated by age nor mobility.

The aim of this project is to bring the community together to share movies, music and food to help improve community cohesion as well and mental health and wellbeing during the post New Year period.
