To seek funding for the purchase of essential equipment to establish and maintain a polytunnel as part of our youth development project. The initiative aims to provide young people with hands-on experience in horticulture, sustainability, teamwork, and healthy living, while strengthening community engagement.

We are a community larder that helps people facing food insecurity to access various food items at a low cost to enable them to have access to food as well as allowing them to use the money saved for other things during the ever rising cost of living.

Our Building Skills and Inspiration project is 3 fold : 1. Transport to visit Scottish Quilting Show for ideas and inspiration. This is especially important for our non drivers who otherwise cannot attend. 2. Engage tutor to give us a workshop to build skills 3. Buy materials to facilitate members giving workshops withing the group

The football ground is a focal point of local activity—used not just for matches, but, on occasion, for youth programmes and community gatherings. In deprived areas where access to health and leisure services is already limited, this can be a lifeline for many disabled residents. We aim to create accessible facilities would allow more residents to take part, helping to improve mental wellbeing, reduce loneliness, and create stronger community bonds.

Bypass Art community group will be out and about over the next twelve months to raise awareness and gather support for the Bessie On The Bypass public art project. We are seeking funds to purchase, a gazebo, branded fleeces for our group members and promotional items that will spotlight, highlight and publicise this creative initiative.

This much-loved community tradition brings together families, local businesses, and visitors to celebrate, strengthen community spirit, and support the town’s local economy. The Christmas Light Switch-On is more than just a seasonal event. It fosters pride and belonging, creating a sense of joy and togetherness during a time that can be challenging for many.
