We are a group of retirees, mostly in our 70's and 80's who practice yoga weekly. We are also a social and support group, offering support to one another in times of stress, loneliness and/or isolation. We would like to organise a theatre trip in early 2026 to help combat winter blues.

A pilot Free Junior Hayocks Youth Café. The Junior Youth café will aim to address local challenges of child/food poverty, anti-social behaviour, excessive screen time, and social isolation. By offering a safe, welcoming, and cost-free food, we group will support families struggling with the cost of living, promote equality, and provide opportunities for socialising activities, and confidence building for kids. Our aim – to create lasting benefits for children, families, and our wider community.

We see the introduction of these fun outdoor pastimes as fundamental to the future of the park. Not only are they healthy open air pursuits but by targetting families, individuals, schools and local groups, these activities can help in peoples Health and Well-being. Ripple Effect Saltcoats see Melbourne Public Park as the thriving leisurely place it once was.
