To organise and administer a Presentation/Awards Ceremony for anyone connected with Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club

The D.I.S.C. (Determination, independence, Strive, Confidence) Award is a group of adults who meet weekly on a Wednesday morning in Ardrossan. Our group is made up of individuals who are looking to be reintegrated back into the community having spent time in the criminal justice system. The group started off as a cooking group but has now developed into structured sessions through an adaptation of the over 50's Discovery Award Group.

We are seeking funding to support a series of inclusive and engaging activities for our Parent & Toddler Group aimed at improving health and wellbeing, building community spirit, and supporting families during the cost-of-living crisis. We also plan to incorporate green projects to promote environmental awareness from an early age.

As Save Ardrossan Harbour have been very busy and continue to progress with our campaign to save the harbour, we have limited access in terms of printing for flyers, petitions and posters. The project would allow us to operate more cost effectively. The project will also increase our profile with purchasing more pin badges which help enhance our message.

We are a group of retirees, mostly in our 70's and 80's who practice yoga weekly. We are also a social and support group, offering support to one another in times of stress, loneliness and/or isolation. We would like to organise a theatre trip in early 2026 to help combat winter blues.

This project involves expanding community orchards that we have created at Holm Plantation in Ardrossan and Ardeer Quarry in Stevenston.

After the success of our first community garden at The Argyle Centre, Start Little Grow Big is expanding. We are now working with West Coast Furniture Bank SCIO and The Criminal Justice Team to create a brand-new community garden space in Ardrossan.

The group would like to continue providing opportunities of discovery through a group trip, STEM activities & by hosting a community coffee morning.

The project supports people living with dementia to enjoy 1-2-1 befriending, provide companionship within their home, or attend one of our dementia wellbeing cafes.

We are a friendly community club supporting over 50s with loneliness and mental well-being. With 52 members, we offer quizzes, bingo, and social outings. We hope to organise special events for Valentine’s Day and Easter, as well as bus trips, helping our members connect and enjoy life together. Funding will ensure these activities are free and accessible for everyone.
