Project Summary

We are the 1st Saltcoats Beavers group, with our members coming from Saltcoats and Stevenston. Our Beavers weren't able to attend the last camp with the Cubs and Scouts from all over Ayrshire as the setting wasn't appropriate for our kids with additional needs. We would love to fund the Beavers share of our next group camp so that they can all attend with the bigger kids in an appropriate setting, and fund the badges they will earn at camp.

Project Description

Our group of 8 Beavers will attend a group camp at the Blair Activity Centre along with the Cubs and Scouts.  Based on previous costs for the same setting in early 2024 our costs are:

 

8 heads at the Blair @ £35 each - £280

Beavers share of meals and snacks - £120

Badges x 3 per Beaver @£1 - £24

Location: 1st Saltcoats serves kids from Saltcoats and Stevenston, which is an area highly ranked on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation.
