We are newly elected House Captains of Mayfield Primary School working with Mayfield Parent Council. We would like some help from PB locality funding to help us create a wellbeing area within our school so we can use the space at lunch time and afterschool. This will include picnic benches, planters and 2 basketball stands as we want to start a lunch time and afterschool activity club.

We are residents of Saltcoats High Flats and meet on a weekly basis. We are an older community of people with a varying mobility needs and general abilities. Many of us live by ourselves. We created our afternoon club to foster community spirit, reduce isolation and help each other out. We would like to apply for funding to help with days out.

We would like to further enhance our food larder to provide fresh fruit and vegetables twice weekly over the Winter period.

We support 35 people on a weekly basis from age 65-90 years old. We provide a safe space for the elderly to socialise. We do different activities that include bingo, quizzes, entertainment, bus trips and theatre outings

We cater for over 50 community members (45 active members) providing social interaction through Bingo, Quizzes, Lunches, Dances, Christmas Dinners and Trips.

We are a group of 13 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

We are currently setting up a community shed where people can meet for a chat, work on creative projects, and learn new skills

This year as a local community centre we would like to offer families an opportunity to have breakfast with Santa free of charge to help in times of the cost of living crisis. We live in an area identified as being of multiple deprivation and some of the children and young people in our area have limited financial resources. We would love to build community spirit by offering a breakfast with Santa for free.
