We are a group of 13 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

Our aim is to save Ardrossan Harbour and ensure it remains a vital and lasting part of the town. Our campaign aims to spread our message across Ayrshire and involve as many community groups, businesses, and members of the public as possible.

Setting up of solar-panel power source to charge communal equipment as currently members are taking rechargeable batteries home to charge

Formed in 2022 and constituted earlier this year, we are a group of volunteers who survey the core path network in Eglinton Country Park and identify problem areas affecting accessibility. We primarily improve paths where there is flooding and cut back branches and bushes along borders to help make paths accessible for all park users.

Our project aims to organize a Christmas celebration for the Ukrainian community in North Ayrshire, welcoming both adults and children from various cultural backgrounds, including local Scottish residents. This event will serve as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of diverse traditions. By bringing people together to share in the joy of the season, we hope to promote unity and strengthen community bonds.

Barrfield Community Garden is a new space in Largs dedicated to growing local food and fostering community engagement. Surplus food is donated to Largs Food Bank.
