Food & Heat is going to be the topic of our winter campaign for the community. We run the community cafe in the centre which is open 5 days a week 7.30am until 4.30pm. The centre would like to supply hot soup with a roll, or a hot meal & a hot drink 3 times a week to take a wee bit of pressure off in the winter.

"The Stevenston North Community Association's goal is to host events that promote social interaction and benefit local residents. We are residents of Saltcoats High Flats and meet on a weekly basis. We are an older community of people with a varying mobility needs and general abilities. Many of us live by ourselves. We created our afternoon club to foster community spirit, reduce isolation and help each other out. We would like to apply for funding to help with days out.

We are a small non-profit group, passionate about preventing suicide in their local community by raising awareness of suicide support services while reducing stigma around suicide.

A group for over 13s to get together in a safe and welcoming space to play Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar. Originally set up to get people affected by social anxiety after the Covid Lockdown back to socialising whilst taking part in a rewarding hobby.

We are a rainbows group that has 22 girls and 11 on our waiting list. We would love to take the girls to the cinema to see Moana 2. We would also like to buy them badges and supplies to continue delivering the Girlguiding programme

Ardrossan Indoor Bowls Club has a large function suite which, outwith funeral teas, is unused during the day since the closure of its Cafe. It does offer a Community Corner where there are facilities to exchange books, use games such as cards, dominoes and board games and some craft materials. We would love to expand this and also offer it to be used as a Warm Hub, during the Winter. People from the 3 Towns could call in and be provided with hot drinks and soup and sandwiches.

Argyle Community Shop operates on a Wednesday from 11am - 4pm supporting local households with access to food and a holistic range of supports to manage the cost of living crisis. We are open to all residents of Saltcoats who can provide proof of address and give a warm, friendly welcome to everyone who comes along.
