We are a new community project formed to help support members of our community by creating opportunities for both adults and children to experience a holistic approach to wellness and mental health support. Both our directors live in the town of Kilwinning and are aware of some of the challenges and barriers individuals can face when it comes to accessing services. Over 24.7% or over 5000 children and young people live in poverty in North Ayrshire with 29% of children going to bed hungry, with many relying on school meals to get through the day. We wish to run fun football sessions for children and young people regardless of ability with the focus on fun and providing food towards a healthy diet, After the football session run by qualified coaches is finished children can come into our 50's themed diner and have a hot evening meal including fruit juice.
