Choose Kilwinning wish to apply for PB funding to help meet the cost of testing and installing our Christmas Lights for our Christmas Lights Switch On, a day long community event which culminates in lighting up our Main Street.

Over 24.7% or over 5000 children and young people live in poverty in North Ayrshire with 29% of children going to bed hungry, with many relying on school meals to get through the day. We wish to run fun football sessions for children and young people regardless of ability with the focus on fun and providing food towards a healthy diet, After the football session run by qualified coaches is finished children can come into our 50's themed diner and have a hot evening meal including fruit juice.

We are a group of 13 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

A Christmas Social event to bring all of our groups together, a bingo machine, books and markers so that we can fundraise throughout the year.

Our project aims to organize a Christmas celebration for the Ukrainian community in North Ayrshire, welcoming both adults and children from various cultural backgrounds, including local Scottish residents. This event will serve as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of diverse traditions. By bringing people together to share in the joy of the season, we hope to promote unity and strengthen community bonds.

We are a small group of 10 adult learners embarking on a creative journey with a local artist as a tutor, this is a free group and we meet in Cranberry Moss Community centre once a week on a Friday morning. We have been running for 11 weeks now and thoroughly enjoy this group, it is such a therapeutic release from the We are currently relying on left over art supplies from other groups that have been running, we would love to be able to have our own supplies as this would only aid our learning.

We are a new community project formed to help support members of our community by creating opportunities for both adults and children to experience a holistic approach to wellness and mental health support. Both our directors live in the town of Kilwinning and are aware of some of the challenges and barriers individuals can face when it comes to accessing services. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for anyone attending our sessions, and be accessible to all!

We are a family group that support each other to work through different emotions and build a collective understanding of our own and our children's. We work together to build a toolkit for wellbeing

Thanks to PB grants, Eglinton Growers for the last 2 years been able to provide free a Easter Egg hunt and a fun afternoon of activities, as well as a Santa's grotto. These events have been well attended by the local community with tickets gone within days of advertising. We would love to continue these events each year. Each event has seen over 100 children coming along with their families.

We support 35 people on a weekly basis from age 65-90 years old. We provide a safe space for the elderly to socialise. We do different activities that include bingo, quizzes, entertainment, bus trips and theatre outings
