We are a group of 13 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

Thanks to PB grants, Eglinton Growers for the last 2 years been able to provide free a Easter Egg hunt and a fun afternoon of activities, as well as a Santa's grotto. These events have been well attended by the local community with tickets gone within days of advertising. We would love to continue these events each year. Each event has seen over 100 children coming along with their families.

Our project aims to organize a Christmas celebration for the Ukrainian community in North Ayrshire, welcoming both adults and children from various cultural backgrounds, including local Scottish residents. This event will serve as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of diverse traditions. By bringing people together to share in the joy of the season, we hope to promote unity and strengthen community bonds.

We support 35 people on a weekly basis from age 65-90 years old. We provide a safe space for the elderly to socialise. We do different activities that include bingo, quizzes, entertainment, bus trips and theatre outings

This year as a local community centre we would like to offer families an opportunity to have breakfast with Santa free of charge to help in times of the cost of living crisis. We live in an area identified as being of multiple deprivation and some of the children and young people in our area have limited financial resources. We would love to build community spirit by offering a breakfast with Santa for free.

Choose Kilwinning wish to apply for PB funding to help meet the cost of testing and installing our Christmas Lights for our Christmas Lights Switch On, a day long community event which culminates in lighting up our Main Street.

Kilwinning Litter Pickers operate across Kilwinning carrying out community litter picking as individuals and working with community partners like Kilwinnibg Sports club, kilwinning beavers, scouts and local schools. The grant is to restock with more litter pickers for community clean ups and loaning to individuals to adopt an area.

We are a family group that support each other to work through different emotions and build a collective understanding of our own and our children's. We work together to build a toolkit for wellbeing

A Christmas Social event to bring all of our groups together, a bingo machine, books and markers so that we can fundraise throughout the year.

North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling (NATC) is a local group set up in August 2023 that allows Vision Impaired people to enjoy cycling with the support of a Fully Sighted, Fully Trained Pilot. We currently have 11 members who are Vision Impaired and 15 fully Sighted members. We enjoy weekly organised outings In and around North Ayrshire. We currently require funding to allow us to service our Tandems to make them safe for use by our Vi's
