We are currently setting up a community shed where people can meet for a chat, work on creative projects, and learn new skills

A Christmas Social event to bring all of our groups together, a bingo machine, books and markers so that we can fundraise throughout the year.

Our project aims to organize a Christmas celebration for the Ukrainian community in North Ayrshire, welcoming both adults and children from various cultural backgrounds, including local Scottish residents. This event will serve as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of diverse traditions. By bringing people together to share in the joy of the season, we hope to promote unity and strengthen community bonds.

Thanks to PB grants, Eglinton Growers for the last 2 years been able to provide free a Easter Egg hunt and a fun afternoon of activities, as well as a Santa's grotto. These events have been well attended by the local community with tickets gone within days of advertising. We would love to continue these events each year. Each event has seen over 100 children coming along with their families.

We are a group of 13 individuals aged 50+ who meet on a weekly basis in Kilwinning library with an aim to complete the discovery award programme through taking part in personal and group challenges.

We support 35 people on a weekly basis from age 65-90 years old. We provide a safe space for the elderly to socialise. We do different activities that include bingo, quizzes, entertainment, bus trips and theatre outings

The day Kilwinning comes together in McGavin Park, Picnic in the Park. The second Thursday in August, try ir sessions, family entertainment, services promoting themselves and music on stage. Free activities and some paid for activities at a one price wristband to assist with affordability and inclusion.

North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling (NATC) is a local group set up in August 2023 that allows Vision Impaired people to enjoy cycling with the support of a Fully Sighted, Fully Trained Pilot. We currently have 11 members who are Vision Impaired and 15 fully Sighted members. We enjoy weekly organised outings In and around North Ayrshire. We currently require funding to allow us to service our Tandems to make them safe for use by our Vi's

We are a small group of 10 adult learners embarking on a creative journey with a local artist as a tutor, this is a free group and we meet in Cranberry Moss Community centre once a week on a Friday morning. We have been running for 11 weeks now and thoroughly enjoy this group, it is such a therapeutic release from the We are currently relying on left over art supplies from other groups that have been running, we would love to be able to have our own supplies as this would only aid our learning.

Choose Kilwinning wish to apply for PB funding to help meet the cost of testing and installing our Christmas Lights for our Christmas Lights Switch On, a day long community event which culminates in lighting up our Main Street.
